I urge anyone who's a fan to go to this. I went last night and it was fucking great. Other than the two opening tracks, he played only tracks from the first three albums Twisted Evil The Misfits tribute was a blast and Glenn's voice was surprisingly good in comparison to some of the vocal performances he's delivered over the last few albums. SUPPORT!

Every time Danzig schedules some kind of show like this here he ends up cancelling last minute. It's really quite amusing honestly.

From what I know it's a European thing, so I wouldn't know I'm afraid. If you do get the chance though then check it out. I was genuinely surprised at how good it was having been weakened by some of the live footage of recent years and what I've been told about his set lists being composed of a lot of new shit and only a couple of the classics. He even played 'Tired of Being Alive' and 'Do You Wear the Mark'. Fucking great show!

I wish this tour was hitting the States.
I've seen him 4 times, and he's always played 85% old stuff with a couple new ones in the beginning. "Tired of Being Alive" has always been on the set the times I've seen him. LOVE that song.

They were just touring the US a couple months ago. I saw it in Denver. Played almost a whole set of stuff from the first three including stuff like Blood and Tears, Devil's Plaything besides the obvious ones (Twist of Cain, DBS, Mother, etc). Great show. He sounded really good but left out all the ooohs in Dirty Black Summer. Doyle was there and they played some Misfits stuff too.

Yeah, that tour didn't hit Chicago... guess that's what I meant when I said "the States" Laughing Never heard Blood and Tears live, damn.

Remember in 2004 when Glenn was claiming that the Misfits set with Doyle was only gonna be a one time deal? Very Happy

Either way seeing Both of them perform live together is intense, I totally lost it during Bullet.

Saw him on Halloween last year or 2011 where he played full Misfits and Samhain sets and earlier this year and it was great.

No shit. Laughing Samhain/Danzig in '99 would have been my first "big" concert if they didn't cancel. Danzig Legacy cancellation last year pretty much fucked me off really bad.

I've seen Danzig close to 20 times since 1988, including several Misfits sets with Doyle, and he ALWAYS delivers. I think the live show is as good as it's ever been.

Supposedly there may be more US dates after the European tour...hopefully he'll make it to NY on this tour!
