Enforcer - Death By Fire
Just Great. The best Enforcer record. Really good riffs, good songs and Well performed. It is more moody than their earlier works.

Tribulation - The Formulas Of Death
As above stated. Great songs. It is more or less the best death metal album in a long time.

Necrocurse - Grip Of The Dead
Almost like Sarcofago reborn.

Machetazo - Ruin

I'd like to second that but sadly it was a rather disappointing album. Boring and monotone with the excuse of being "atmospheric", and I think the presence of lyrics limits their creativity a lot, both in the vocal performance, in the themes and the overall atmosphere. Feels like just another Death Metal band from the bunch rather than good old Machetazo. First time I get bored of one of their records and don't remember a single riff even after a few of listens.

Great release that ignores the Incantation/ Autopsy throw back obsession of the last few years and brings something refreshing to the death metal genre. Well worth checking out.

I like this!

Sounds killer already!

Agreed on this needing more attention. It was announced in the same message from NH as the Mgla vinyl reissues, so it got lost in the excitement over those.

Yeah i only happen to notice it recently when rereading the announcements. I'm curious to hear it. I loved Falling Monuments. Hopefully can get around to this one in a couple months when i'll be able to make more purchases. Its on my list to pick up.

Great thread, i hadn't heard much from this year so far other than the really hyped stuff (new autopsy, new darkthrone, new ghost, etc releases). I'm glad the new aosoth got mention, i haven't heard it but i only know about it because i saw copies at MDF. Though i don't follow the band closely so maybe i missed the announcements.

That STAV-mediate to kill sounds fuckin brilliant. Though the blurb on the youtube track I'm listening to says its a 2012 release? Never heard them before anyway so win for me either way.

The TRIBULATION album is clearly gonna be one of the albums of the year, if not the last few years and going by the few posts here praising it I doubt it is that much ignored.

I will suggest the new MOURNING BELOVETH album 'formless'. A criminally underrated band of the melodic death/doom genre. The new album breaks new ground and could be their best stuff yet. Masters of their art.
