Master Ring of our exclusive 'Doom Cult Shield' design forged in premium silver and crafted by professional jeweller Christopher Sheehan.
This quality silver ring will be made available upon request. Price is yet to be determined but due to the fluctuating precious metal market and currency exchange we expect to price these around 150.00euro excluding priority postage.

Even though it looks pretty good that price is hilarious... Perfect for your warcult wedding I guess.

By the way what was up with that split 12" that just took this exact image and slapped their band logos on it? Saw it in the recent vinyl scores thread..

edit: final price is 180 EUR($273 CAD) excluding shipping Shocked , I feel bad for Diocletian collectors.

Looks good but it reeks of the branding exploited by 'big' metal bands

It's such a fucking cool design.

I wouldn't wear it on a ring, but I only wear one ring.... My wedding band.....

More power to those grimm enough to be brutal enough to adorn themselves with such fineries....

Depending on the weight, one-off rings made of silver can't justifiably be sold for much less.
Edit: this was before I saw the "final price". I retract my previous statement.

The record you're talking about is the Amalek/Nachtkult 10" on IG Farben. Some pretty good NSBM, nothing too fancy. And as for the crest design I'm not 100% sure on its origins but I think it was originally just some random Wehrmacht/SS division crest that these bands used...

Thanks for the info, I thought the Doom Cult came up with the design, if it was just lifted from somewhere I'd be interested to see a pic of where it came from.

It's actually a shield of a city in Germany. Don't remember which one. However the version used by Diocletian has the wolfs angle turned so it reads NZ (New Zealand) and the design itself was drawn by someone from Diocletian. It makes no sense for another band to use this design.

That would be awesome to own as a member of the band, but I'd feel weird wearing it as a fan.

Just guessing but Amalek are from the same region (Saxony) as where the shield comes from. Maybe they have just reappropriated the symbol back to its original use?

How can you reappropriate our aesthetics? The symbolism is old but this particular design has been ours since 2007. The shield has been used many times with different designs within it.
This band as well as others have simply taken it off google image.

As for the silver ring i had one made at that price and people wanted them. The price reflects a custom 25g fine silver ring crafted by a jeweller. If you dont like it to fucking bad. Go bitch to someone who gives a shit.

I disagree. This is a genuinely good quality piece of work that fails to reek of the exploitative marketing bullshit associated with much of the pathetic merch on offer nowadays. There's no free patch, certificate of ownership, signed photo of the band or limited edition vinyl attached, just a fine piece of jewellery. This is clearly not some cheap shit for faggot consumers. Hail the Doom Cult.
