Double dose of trouble: The End Records and Pre Order.

Wouldn't order from TER/Omega Order if my life depended on it. Fucking useless.

Just got two copies of Storm of the Light's Bane and they threw in a free patch.

It sounds ok...lacking bass and midrange and I detect a slight over-compression on the master...I do not have the original to compare it to, though...but the packaging is top notch. I already have Somberlain ultimate reissue vinyl, but I'm curious how this stacks up with that one.

I've never had any problems with TMO/THEEND. What have you experienced?

Or is it maybe a Europe only thing?

When you have compared the Ultimate Reissue with the picture disc please report here. I have found the Ultimate reissue for 60, worth it or not?

So they threw in a free patch, is it a Dissection patch? I need One, the Nuclear Blast ones look terrible.

I just realized the omega order released the ultimate reissues, so it's quite likely that they sound similar. I got two copies of Storm of the Light's Bane so I don't know how the Somberlain pic discs stack up.

The Somberlain ultimate reissue has the Into Infinite Obscurity 7" tacks, some rehearsals and a live mix. I don't know if it's worth 60 euro, though most of the boners on discogs are slanging theirs for well over 100 US...I paid 22 US dollars for mine.

Omega order did it togheter with Norma Evangelium Diaboli and Black Horizon. Norma Evangelium Diaboli usually equals with high quality.

But what about the patch, is it a Dissection patch?

Sorry,

Yeah it's a Dissection patch...this logo silk screened:

You're right, Norma Evangelium Diaboli is legitimate. As I mentioned, the packaging is pretty awesome for the pic discs.

Say, Roc, are the lyrics printed on the inner gatefold of "Reinkaos", and is there more of Ketola's art to be seen that crowns the album? Thank you!

Yeah, the lyrics are indeed printed on the other side of the inserts, as well as the art. On matte paper not glossy:

The sleeves are heavyweight and look like this when opened:

It's the same idea for each of the albums. I only got to listen to The Somberlain so far and it sounds good, though I don't have any other vinyl to compare it to. I'd say these are definitely worth the price.

Only thing I think is odd is that the back of the sleeves for The Somberlain & SOTLB both say "ULTIMATE REISSUE" on top while the Reinkaos one does not:

Sorry for the low quality of the photos.

Almost the Same layout as the previous re-issues. And since Reinkaos wasn't reissued When the other two were.
I wonder why it says ultimate reissue at all since there is no bonus material.
