Ok, I recently got two Merciless re-issue CD's, The Treasures Within and Unbound. Both were factory sealed and looking totally legit.

But, The Treasures Within layout is the most pixelated fucked up things I've ever witnessed so far. The text is mostly unreadable...

And Unbound (Black cover, digipack), appeared to be a fucking CD-R! Digipack was sealed and looked totally factory made.

I also have a self-titled CD from Black Lodge too and it's ok, without any issues.

Anyone else have these copies? Do you know if they are boots or some more info?

Treasure Within is indeed really bad. I don't understand why they allowed it!

Glad I now have the original Active Records cd.

What's up with the sound on the original release that the band did not like? I read an interview where Erik said the sound was a total disaster on original LP/CD...

I have the Unbound digi. It's a legit Sony pressed disc. I'll share a story... A couple years ago I went to FYE and bought Havok's Time is Up. I opened it and it was indeed a CDr. Blue tinted! VERY strange.
