Beyond Dawn - "pity love"

You could add the demos and to an extent the next 2 albums. But I think Pity Love is quite unique. I hear a lot of SWANS in it.

Arcane Rain Fell is a great record if you're into the really melodic gothic doom stuff and one of the first records that came to mind when I saw the tread title, but it's not a 90s record. Still, highly recommended.

The main Draconian guy also released two rather good doom albums solo as Doom:vs. The first one in particular I immediately connected with when it came out. Those ethereal keys really add a lot.

Well, that was actually my first experience with ToT and I loved it when it first came out. But, once I heard their debut, Velvet Darkness sounded watered down by comparison.
