Inquisitors is a good example, definitely not DSO's best record but I'd love to own it on wax. I usually don't care about first pressings (it depends on the band / record of course), but the piclp version of the boxset is nothing I'd be interested in, since I already own most of their stuff and I ain't the biggest fan of piclps.

So... uh, is 20 Buck Spin gonna get these or another US distro, or is ordering from NH the way to go?

I'm sure they will be well distributed in the USA. I've already put an e-mail in, hopefully to get the LPs shipped direct from the plant and possibly take some older NH releases as well.

Any German or UK distributors likely to get these in? I have some of them already, the EPs on 7" for example, and WHTN, but the others I could do with getting hold of.

I'll definitely have to replace my Presence 12" with the redone version. I'm looking forward to having the "Crushing..." tracks on wax.

Damn! Spent quite a lot of my money to get all their releases on vinyl and now becomes reissues... Really annoying.

Same shit just happened to me with Funebrarum's Sleep of Morbid Dreams. Life goes on and in a few paychecks you won't remember.

Well, here is mostlikely the reason why NH repressed them.
1. Sold out releases go overpriced cause collectors need to have them
2. Others than collectors with big wallet cant get them
3. Represses are usually identical to first ones (like in "Lorraine rehearsals" case) so collectors cant sold them as "original first press" cause none can prove that they really are first presses. So both presses become equally valuable
4. collectors and hoarders get annoyed...

Every label should do this. And if you check any recent Northern Heritage LP, there isnt fancy booklets, no gatefolds, no die hards. Just simple black and white covers with black vinyl. Years ago they even stopped announcing how big their pressings are so ppl cant use "limited to XXX copies" when gaining the value of NH releases.

And even without those artificial things that others use to make their releases more KULT (even if I hate that word, its only word to describe that mentality...) NH releases are still gems and wanted cause their quality is in bands and musick itself.

NH not just releases best black metal records but has right attitude towards demand, limited editions and collector hocus pocus. Valgrinder said it already, I really like how for example Clandestine Blaze's Falling Monuments was handled, just normal vinyl with lyrics printed in backside, no sheets or other shit.

I'm fine with Mgla cds but I might buy these just for the support towards label. Also new Clandestine Blaze coming soon, impressive!
