How does ordering straight from markuee.com work? Do you pay upon checkout or do you get a mail with details? Tried placing an order, but something might have gone wrong.

As far as I remember, he'll send you a PAypal request through email.

Problem has now been solved, but thanks for the answer.

Got these yesterday already. Paid the 1st, got 'em the 4th - can't complain about that!

They are all nicely done in mini lp sleeves (Alkahest in gatefold) with printed inners and additional inserts. Also, the covers are in resealable plastic sleeves and the cd's themselves come in polybags - a nice touch if you ask me.
I was a bit worried since they were advertised as PAPER sleeves, but luckily they are all cardboard of course.

Gotta say I'm very pleased with these! Hopefully there'll be more...

Btw, I don't get the complaint about this being expensive at all. I mean five cd's for 55 euros shipping included is hardly expensive!

Essential albums. This man understood what Doom Metal was all about before it was called Doom Metal... What a guitarist he is, no idea how he comes up with his solos but they are brilliant.

Great, I guess I'll have them by tomorrow! Yeah the price is fair for the 5 CDs bundle.

Off topic here, but that Ache CD on the front page rules! Lots of great organ/guitar action... Hail to Danish late 60s - early 70s music! Hurdy Gurdy's from Denmark too, but nowhere near as good as Ache.

I ordered from markuee and it took only 5 fucking days to arrive in the USA - WOW!!!!

They did a great job on these cd's - nice layouts - obi straps - the old school style plastic sleeves - basically miniature vinyl's --- cant wait to listen to these all day tomorrow at work

How does one find these on your website? Search yields only the stuff you've had for a while.

I think he means that he already has the 2010 reissue of Detaching From Satan, but will be getting the recent reissues. There's no difference between the reissues aside from the packaging, so might as well get it from SKR. I'd take the jewel case one over the LP style digipaks, but whatever, just happy these things are finally available again.

Correct, we're working the deal in the next day or 2.

BTW, these will be much more expensive since the label isn't trading them, but should still be cheaper than ordering direct + the postage.

Bought some of those Violet Theatre reissues. Great stuff... Specially those long bonus tracks on Detaching from Satan which are not on the High Roller vinyl reissue.

What albums are evil sounding ? One that I heard sounded very relaxed in a way.

I don't think any of these sound very evil. Personally not familiar with those Paul Chain albums but Violent Theatre ones are very close to the Paul Chain era Death SS material. Old heavy metal with mystical atmosphere. Some of the stuff has no real lyrics and vocals are "phonetic" without any real language used.

The two bonus tracks are available on their own LP

But I agree, they are totally awesome!
