There is an intensity to the album that was realized, once the eyes opened I seen I was on my knee's due to it. I possibly had let the devil in and I learned one thing, Ghosts new album is pretty good.

awaiting Meyhna'ch's official statement on the matter, preferably the die hard edition

Is that the version Roy is pressing and taking pre-orders on?

currently in limbo until the final verdict in the legal battle between Roy and Cyril over the official rights to the material. you know how these things can go... either way, eventual pre orders are assured!

So a greek bootleg with a pixelated cover is going to come out first only via ebay at $66 a copy.

fuck, I thought only skull and bones members knew about that. SHHHH! Cool

last behexen album = last sargeist album = last baptism album = the weakest in their discography

a band's last album is always the weakest in their discography...

Their best material for sure along with Lair of Necromancy. Sargeist beats easily any recent Behexen or Horna stuff and many other finnish black metal try-hards. Its a sign of good band when you see both extremely negative and positive opinions. Razz

i think they've only gotten better. i've had the mp3s for satanic black devotion for many moons but actually own let the devil in lp and lair of necromancy. in other words, while their old stuff is good, this album is their best yet.

That was my reaction too. I found it slightly disappointing, but after their great showing at NBM I was compelled to buy the album. I'm glad I did because, although it doesn't have the same darkness/coldness, it has a very powerful, glorifying and intoxicating atmosphere.

Easily the best Sargeist album so far. They're getting better and better. I actually think the same thing goes for Behexen.
