To put it straight and simple - the best death metal album of 2013 so far.

Full immersion listening these days for me.

In my opinion I think it's a good album with some remarkable tracks such Arch Cadaver, She Is A Funeral, Slaughter at Beast House, Mangled Far Below... but in the same time there's a lot of filler and unspired one like Flesh Turns to Dust and Thorns and Ashes (seriously, it's very strange listen Danny and Eric do a Powerslave-style tapping Confused ).

In the end, I liked it and buy in the near future for the sickness which permeate and made by Reifert & Co.

This album rules you fucks, solid album with quality songs all around! Better than Macabre Ritual already.

It's a f**king scorcher but I belong to the Autopsy fanboy-squad, too, but it lines up with the classics just nicely and Reifert's deranged vocals send shiver after shiver down my spine. It is perfect death metal.

I'm also in the camp that this is a better record than Macabre Eternal (and I LOVE Macabre Eternal). Utterly essential. Vocals are something else.

I really hope this will be better than Macabre Eternal and TTW. So far Autopsy's reunion brought nothing but sub-par shit.

I think they don't understand why Mental Funeral is so legendary.

They clearly do, they're just doing something a bit different. It's not fucking hard to understand really.

It's not really that it's different but that it's not as good. That's not hard to comprehend either.

No, that wasn't what I was taking issue with. It was the asinine comment that they 'don't understand' why MF is legendary. That's just dumb.

You have to understand who you're talking about here. Dumb statements are right up Conservationist's alley. I'm sure he understands Autopsy better than the band. If he was writing all of their music they'd have nothing but classics from now til the end of time.

I'm just shocked he didn't bring political ideology into the discussion.

Good album, but seems kind of drawn out and too long again.

I like how the first riff in "When Hammer Meets Bone" is "Fast as a Shark".

I forgot which track I heard but Reifert's vocals are WAY overdone. He needs to tone it down.
