Almost 25 years of uncompromising and bloody awesome Death Metal!

Probably the most underrated Brazilian band, but surely a great and rather consistent one. They definitely deserve more attention. It's damn strange that they never got their material released even on a 7" by some label.

There gotta be more people here who dig their demos. Discuss!

Yes, one of the best bands from Brazil. The Temple of Bizarre Cult still does it for me the most. Mixture of Expulser/Sexthrash on one side, Sadistic Intent/Possessed on the other side and some severe Swedish things in the early Gorement vein. Stunning...

The Temple of Bizarre Cult and The Kingdom of Fake Promises for me. Truly a hidden brazilian gem.

Dawn of Agony in particular is great. Six Rites... was great, but the sound let it down. I've not heard the new one, haven't been able to track that one down (not even a rip!) yet!

The reason they've not released anything via a label though, as far as I understand is because they only want to release demos.

Weird choice, but it might as well be the issue.

Let's wait and see who will release their full length first, though - ES, Sadistic Intent or Necrovore! Laughing

I know they turned down offers from more than one label to release a full leght, or even to make a 7"ep version of a demo. this would be be more "understandable", to me, if all their stuff came on tape. but since their stellar music sometimes is released on crap cd-r, it just makes no sense.

I have two or three demos of them. The kingdom of fake promising is incredibly good, love the sound.

Embalmed Souls is one of the best brazilian dm band indeed.

For those interested, I still have copies of their best demo (imo) on tape:

Temple of Bizarre Cult (Awakening) TAPE

This is an official edition of course.

Stickered pro duplicated tapes + original insert from the band's original batch.

7 USD$ p.p. to Canada/USA without plastic case.

People oversea, sending 1 to 4 tapes cost the same which is 7 USD$.

PM if interested

It's in their blood and attitude. Around the time of "The Temple of Bizarre Cult" I asked the Souls if they were interested in doing a proper CD-release of their demos. The band refused the offer and their bass player at that time even ruled out all the "CD"-words in his returning letter, hah! "The Temple..." is great, write to this band and buy their demos!

nothing wrong with only releasing demos. I just think that CD-R is PURE CRAP. so I can understand why someone would avoid cds instead of the "underground feeling" of tapes and vinyl, but - as least to ME - is pointless refusing to release a cd but being ok with a cd-r.
