Any fans of this Norwegian death metal-band on here?
Not a band I've seen mentioned often, but personally I'm a big fan of all their works up to and with Ascensions Of Terror from 2001.

Actually yes, even though I lost track of them after Shadows of Old.
Very powerful with a Bolt Thrower vide, sometimes really shitty cover artwork but great music.

+1.
Everything up to "Shadows Of Old" is underrated.
"Ascension of Terror" is a bit weak compared to their older material. And I never gave "HeXaeon" a fair chance.

So I am the only one who thinks that "A Darker Monument" is an incredible Death Metal album (with a couple of similarities from Disciples Of Mockery and newer Incantation) ?

Shadows of Old is great! To me that's their underrated album, because people who liked their first two albums didn't approve of the shift towards a more death metal oriented sound. It has lots of memorable riffs, very strong song structure, great drumming. A small death/black metal classic, if you ask me. The cover art is cheesy at best, though, so 1999.

Ares seem to be a strange man to persuade with offers let alone replying emails regarding offers for that mcd. Yosuke sent him several mails without any reply at least.
