I just hauled back a backpack full of books from France and am trying to give Céline a shot in French... as one should.

I'm impressed, it won't be easy, I guess...
But it definitely worth it, Voyage au Bout de la Nuit is a huge masterpiece.

Hah, thanks! Slowly, slowly, my FTL* is being worked on.

I have this complex set of rules about reading books. If I can read the book in the language it was written in, awesome. If not, I'll go for the closest language I know, unless it's known that a particular translation is really good.

My French isn't amazing, but I can read at a roughly Camus level and have reasonable conversations with native speakers, but because I simply love the language I'm trying to push myself to get better at it and to read more. I've come across a lot of English translations that seem to strip the language of much of its nuance and reduce it to just the meaning, which is frustrating and makes me want to carry on.

And, I think, while I get that a lot of people may not like the electronic beats on an aesthetic level, everything really is there for a valid reason on "Ordure..." and I think what's happening there is kind of amazing... at the risk of sounding like I'm trying to ride KPN's nuts. KPN is a highly conceptual band and I tend to approach it a little differently as a result.

Who the fuck reads interviews? Seems you have too much time to indulge into bullshit. Music, lyrics and artwork is enough.

Laughing

Amazingly stupid statement.

About the release date of the upcoming Peste Noire…

I SHOULD receive the cds from the pressing plant within the next fifteen days.

I am not responsible for this delay in production because we placed the order with the factory on the… 1st March 2013!!!

Upon receiving the cds, the LMH label will temporarily shut down, and only open up again once I have sent out all the pre-orders.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Don’t expect any answer from the guy behind the PN facebook page: that page is a fake one and he is not me, although he probably dreams that he is.

The Czech pressing plant has not lived up to our technical specifications – which METASTAZIS stressed heavily many times to them – and they have completely missed out the booklet of the new PN.

They were already more than a month late with this project, and now this time around delivery is postponed for a further two weeks, whilst they redo the booklets.

Besides, a new interview on a porno website here:

Are there any plans for vinyl or standard jewelcase CD? I don't like cardboard ones and I don't want to pay 30 euros for the digibook

Wow. As a hard working prole, I'll be buying the 8E version when the shop's back up. Only social parasites care about idle luxuries like deluxe versions Very Happy

I really like what I'm hearing from those YouTube samples. Unique and demented.
