Can anyone help sorting through the sea of new grindcore releases or new bands out there? Especially good japanese grind or anything "brutal".

Havn't paid attention to a lot in the last 5 years really...

Just listened to the new Bloody Phoenix Lp online for starters. Not as good as Excruciating Terror still... Incantation looking art was what caught my eye though.

Well, i know them, but theyre not even a band anymore... for like 5 years now.

Not interested in Nasum sounding metallic HC grind either.

Theres endless raw black metal bands... is there new raw modern grind bands around I'm not aware of? I'm just out of the loop.

Stuff like Realized, Carcass Grinder, Arsedestroyer, etc...

Any good distros? All the old ones i used to look at seem dead or its the same old records...

Maybe Yacopsae or Siege is what you search for.

As for distribution of powerviolence, fastcore, grindcore etc, Regurgitated Semen Records is recommendable.

I think I have mentioned these already in some other topic, but here we go again.

Death toll 80k. One of my favorites. Close to Insect Warfare, but more memorable songs.

Archagathus. Mince like Agathocles.

That Death toll 80k/Archagathus split is really great. Best stuff I have heard from both bands.

Some other cool bands:

Sakatat

Last Iron Lung is a fuckin' rager. Haven't paid a lot of attention to this stuff in forever so if it stands out its gonna have to be really noteworthy..

I'll check out all the recommendations. Again... I'm very aware of the genre and know who Siege are.

This guys youtube channel had some interesting new shit... a lot of it isn't my cup of tea, but nice that it already has 2014 demos up.

Found some decent noisegrind like Scab Addict and Foiled.
