Anyone else really digging that album? I don't see much talking about it but it's really awesome german Heavy/Speed Metal with satanic lyrics. It's the pre-Rage band, though i tend to love this album and the following EP more than the Rage albums, especially the singer (can't go more heavy metal than him).

Some awesome riffs, chorus and lyrics :

The cover of my lp is pretty fucked up, i wish they re-release it with the demo material and maybe some live tracks (like on the Depraved in Black).

It's surely better than Rage, but that doesn't mean much.

Solid Speed Metal, but Peavy's vocals are hard to chew for me.

That song was pretty shitty, decent vocals but the tempo was boring as shit.

Edit: Not bad based on a few other tracks, seems like your average mid 80's German speed metal type stuff.

I dig that album quite a bit, also the first Rage record Regin of Fear is recommended if you like Prayers of Steel. Overall though this material is only for speed metal enthusists, I can see why the casual onlooker may not be to into either Rage or Avenger. Most Rage albums contain a handful of good songs followed by mostly boring shit, for example Secrets in a Wired World.........Invisible Horizons and Without a Trace are both absolutley great songs from the genra, but Tell Grandpa and some of the other crap on there is real garbage to me.

I read that this album's lyrics where a contest between the band members to come up with the cheesiest themes they could. Don't know if its true or not, but its still a great album. I defiantly prefer Avenger over Rage.
