Yes! All of that. And Fingerprint from France.

I was--and still am--OK with the whole emo metal thing that was happening in the 90s. Like You & I. If you actually listened to the lyrics it was dumb as hell, but the music was so good.

Perfect example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cf-j4HWm_qU

Bremen-style hardcore ruled. The Akephal LP is my favourite (with Acme's.)

Americans seem to love Fingerprint but they weren't the best band of that ilk in my humble opinion (when it comes to the French bands, that is.)

With Acme I always found there's a certain black metal vibe going on.
Mörser's Two hours to doom is an amazing album, after that I lost interest.
Stack was a great band as well:

I have a good friend who still LOVES Fingerprint. Never did it for me however.

Never heard of Akephal, I will have to look into this. Thanks for the tip.

Lately been listening to a lot of Deadguy, The Repos, DMIZE, and Gauze.

Also been listening to this non-stop ever since I discovered it a few months ago. Up there with Bored Youth for (to me) one of the best american hardcore records ever.

Zorn is a German band of that style that gets overlooked a lot here in the States.

And echoing the poster above me, Deadguy. Great stuff. Never got their due when they were around. They weren't mosh enough for the Victory crowd, and being on Victory made them untouchable to the kids who should have been into them.

Yesterday I picked up a bootleg cdr of the Wretched discography for 1.99$. It was called anti-guerra and it contains all the 7"s and the LP. Italian hardcore is insane !

I'm fond of the japanese hardcore scene from the 80's to this day, one of the most interesting, if not the best, to me. Swedish and UK ones too of course, more on the Crust side but general Hardcore rules too. BTW, everyone should own a Driller Killer record on his collection Cool

No they don't. They're better off buying an Anti-Cimex reissue.

80s HC is my favorite.

Black Flag -- Damaged
Suicidal Tendencies first lp
DRI first lp
MDC first lp
COC Eye for an Eye
Descendents Milo goes to College
Misfits Earth AD

DRI's first record is one of my favorite records of all time. Almost nothing matches that.

I didn't find much at all that I liked in the 90s, or after that.
