| Better than "Rotting" imo. "INRI" and "The Laws..." are my favourites. |

Their best albums are INRI and Rotting. I don't like The Laws of Scourge because it has shit programmed drums. |

all the material rules. I actually really like "Hate" album and the "Crust" EP just as much as I.N.R.I. Have not listened to "the worst" yet but im SURE i would like it.
great great band. |

I love all albums, but this one will always keep a special place for me, maybe because it was the first i heard too. I also love how they managed to raise their technical chops without becoming boring or TOO technical.
Also...

No it doesn't. Drums are either triggered or digital. You can hear the cymbals are acoustic.

I can see why you felt that, but i don't think they really did it on purpose: "Blessed..." was released in july '91 and "Laws..." in August. Things such as photos, album layout, etc took more time to finish back then. But well, we'll never know. That's not impossible either.
edit: In fact album was RECORDED in august '91, so yeah that's entirely possible heh

Yeah, that's why I added the question mark.

Foda-se, e eu não? Pior, no outro dia estive a falar com dois amigos que foram e os gajos a dizerem que nem foi nada de mais. Só me apetecia arrancar-lhe as orelhas fora! _________________ Ides sofrer como cães!

That's a bit ironic IMO. The Laws of Scourge drums just sound triggered to me, but clearly played by a real drummer on a kit of some kind; whereas the drums on INRI sound like either a badly-programmed machine (with the quantize function turned off), or someone "playing drums" very poorly directly on the pads of a drum machine. I've done both and the result sounds a whole lot like that ear-damaging mess that is the only reason I don't own INRI. The snare is the worst offender - sounds exactly like a bad sample and every single hit is at the same volume, which just sounds wrong to the ear. You can tell pretty easily on the crash cymbal too - always the same sound and decay length. _________________
