Lone Star is pretty much PBR with different packaging. Pretty sure PBR brews it now as well.

Live Oak barbecue on East 2nd is pretty good and *just* far enough away from downtown that it's not a madhouse. I would avoid Franklin unless you want to wait 4 hours.

Ppl always hate on the wait but it's honestly worth it. They serve you beer while you wait and there's always interesting people, from all over the world, to meet.

^Good suggestions. The Ginger Man is ILL and if you do drive out to Lockhart for BBQ I would also recommend Smittys (it's the best imo)
