Cypress Hill sampled Sabbath exactly 20 years back already. That's not something new. At the end of the day, it's just MUSIC.

The fact that there's serious hip hop discusions on the NWN forum is pretty fucking lame. Have hipster's taken over the underground?

since when was hip-hop a hipster thing? last time I checked hipsters were pencil-necked faggots who listened to gay shit like Belle & Sebastian.

Don't tell me it's not a great track

^^that Ice-T track is from '91. I also usually think that Hip Hop and Metal shouldn't go together but that one is pretty fucking good.

Rap and hip hop are just jokes. A sad reminder that I pay for their baby mama's food stamps and welfare.

Hipster rap and hipster metal are the same damn thing. People who know their way around around the genres realize what it is and dismiss it. People who prefer to share music via hashtags eat it up.

Blablabla, Ice-T, Public Enemy....yeah, an annoying experiment more than 20 years ago and gladly gone for good!

An "art" that relies on sampling others is not worth anything.

I dont give a shit about rap or MF, but this got me thinking about hardcore techno artists who sampled some black metal. Classic Legionz Ov Hell used some De Mysteriis riffs i think, and some other artist made hc version of Mütiilation Transylvania song. That was great, i might have the audio in my old hard drive.

P.S. Their "Gate of Nanna" cover is better though.
