I'm closing in on 30 years and just heard them for the first time this year, so you're not alone. |

I still need to check out Death Metal-era Therion. I've only seen them doing the sucky stuff live once a few years ago.
Samhain/Danzig & Type O Negative, but I heard Misfits & Fallout/Carnivore. Not sure where to start with those bands. |

Does Megadeth count? I just had the courtesy of checking out Symphony of Destruction on youtube.

Black Twilight Circle. You are not missing out by not exploring the entire circle, but you need to give Arizmenda, Tukaaria, Volahn, Dolorvotre a look. |
i have never heard of this gang and after seeing the pic of this tukaaria dude and the dolorblabla homies I instantly decided to skip the whole thing.
I mean, are you serious?
where is NK7 when you need him? |

Simple answer: With the debuts. Total continuity to the predecessors, in both cases. |

I find it hard to believe that you didn't even saw this video-clip at least once in 1992 (if I remember correctly one of the most expensive ones for that time):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GynJkqoHvf8
But yes, an overall pretty forgettable band. |

Pretty much every melodic death metal band, majority of death doom, about all of sludge/stoner/groove/post metal (I've heard few songs) |

Don't know how well known these bands are but also did not bother with them simply because of the names:
Anal Vomit
Anal Blasphemy
I did however listen to some Anal Cunt and Meat Shits. |
Also Aanal Behemoth and Anaal Nathrakh. I've actually listened to the latter one, but it was pretty damn terrible. |

It's also the name of a book of black magic in the Cthulhu mythos. _________________ If you are a false don't marry! Girlfriend is ok but only destructing anus from behind!!! - Fat Dagon

First time I heard Cultes des Ghoules I thought Theatres des Vampires. Oh how mistaken I were.
As for Manilla Road, they have a lot of good to great stuff, I understand one can be turned off by uspm nerds valuing it over gods like Manowar. |
