| This is the only Legion era Marduk album I can stand in any capacity. Even the fast songs do not bore me, as is usually the case with this band. |

| Gotta love the Vlad Tepes theme running through the album as well. |

Come on, that was an already totally worn-out topic back then... |

I was losing interest in this band by the time Nightwing came out. I kept on buying their new albums after that for some reason but ended up selling/trading most of them including Nightwing. "Those of the Unlight" will always be my fave. Although I decided to give them another chance and I did buy their last two LPs. _________________

| Great album and Legion's voice is still at its peak on it. Shits over everything they did after Panzer Division. |

Loved the slower tracks like Nightwing and Dem Quaden thyrane, and Slay the Nazarene is a song that ought to be more in their live set. But its got quite a bit of filler, and Legion-era Marduk is kind of hit/miss for me. Dark Endless and Those of the unlight are classics though, and the first few albums with Mortuus were great as well. _________________

First few? What do you classifiy as a "few"? He's only done 4 with them.
I think it is hard to compare them as Legion's voice was completely different. New Marduk as Funeral Mist-lite is a good alternative to Funeral Mist when necessary.
Only Legion era albums I still listen to are Nightwing and LGDM, it is a shame PDM was so one dimension as the Blood, Fire, Death trilogy they envisioned would have been better with a Fire that had a more unified sound with the others. _________________

| It's an OK album if you didn't know who Legion is. |

Good album, but my favourite with Legion is World Funeral. _________________ My memory show me a picture, just like a slowly displaying fish |

| My fave from the Legion-era despite of the uber stupid lyrics. Dreams Of Blood And Iron is one of the best tracks they ever recorded. |
