Why would anyone want to listen to an mp3-sourced bootleg lp is beyond me. The guy who said buyers deserve to be ripped off is totally right.

Eh, wish they would be honest about the limitation but I really don't care that much either way. Maybe I'm the only one, but I'm buying it to play it on my turntable, not to sell it on ebay.

Why don't you go hunt down the masters for us then, Columbo. I'm not spending lots of $$$ to some ebay tard just so I can compare the two sound qualities... All I have for reference is my mp3s anyway.

I like when people talk about sound quality and original masters when it comes to a band like Moonblood anyway. Leave sound quality discussions for the Radiohead forum.

Even those who are saying might as well buy a bootleg for $30 are the exact problem though. If someone truly wants to bootleg this for the masses, they won't extort for $30 an LP. Why not just release a simple (near identical) black vinyl and get it to the regular channels that sell bootlegs like the cogumelo boots and other shit lately, and they can charge $15-17 + a couple bucks shipping.
Until then i'll just enjoy my tape copy of this album or track down an original. |

There's a massive difference between production quality and sound quality. One refers to how it was recorded, and one refers to the format. I have no problem with shitty production (or great production), but I don't want to hear a recording that's been fucked up by being dubbed a million times, or damaged because it was put into low-quality mp3s, or improperly pressed onto vinyl, etc. |

Granted, but a decent mp3 rip pressed onto vinyl wouldn't irk me. For example, the mp3s I have sound very good to my ears (I have no way of comparing to the originals for obvious reasons), but if they were transferred to this pic disc with most of that sound intact, I wouldn't cry about it.
