BLOODBATH "band version" is out in Europe:

While this release stands in many ways as Vestal Claret's official debut, Vestal Claret have in fact been releasing eps, splits and demos as early on as 2006 with its actual formation in 2005 predating just about everything being heard in the current "occult" fashion genre at this time. There is no influence or inspiration from anything of the past 2 decades that provoked this release or it's ideas and concepts. The material on this album was all written in 2006, but with contract in hand Vestal
Claret was unable to release these recordings until now.

Most of you have probably already heard this stuff on the vinyl version released in 2011 by Cyclopean Records. Vinyl contains a "Bloodbath's" guest-version, but here you are dealing with a "Bloodbath's" band-version. It's over 70 minutes of classic heavy metal. Meet the Beast himself!

1. Hex of Harm
2. Devil's Daughters
3. The Correlation
4. Ritual of Revival
5. Missing Girl
6. Blood Oath
7. The Templar's Idol
8. Tales to Those Forgotten
9. Endurement to the Heirs of Shame
10. Submissive to Evil
11. Allowance of Sin
12. A Call to Satan

Note: Unfortunately, we ship only to European Union countries. Shipping to rest of world will be available as soon as possible. Stay in touch!

There was talk about NoVisible Scars doing the "guest" Lp version on CD. I'm game if the band is. Stayed tuned.

2/12 weeks left to pre order the BLOODBATH shirts.

About time this came out (on CD). How different are the band and guest versions, anyway? Have you heard them both?

I'm glad it's out, BUT for us in the states...who knows when and whom will be carrying it.

Yes, I have heard the "band version". It certainly has it's fair share of different arrangements musically. Nothing which makes any of the songs a completely new version. Phil Swanson does all the vocals. No shared vocal duties like the Lp. A few of the solos are gone too. Though those were done by different players on the Lp. The track order is different from the LP as well.

No worries though, if your a VC fan you'll totally appreciate it! May take a bit to grow on you though, alot of us are so use the Lp version.

I assume/hope that the band will get copies soon - I'll have to order one from them, I suppose.

Yep, they weren't accepting those orders at first but it got straightened out at some point. Mine took about 2 weeks to arrive.
