I thought this one was a 33 for a long time. Sounds great both ways! |

You need to add just the right amount of molasses to the Pitch Adjustment Input Port on your CD player or Ipod. |

Definitely one big old pile of steaming shit. |
FUCKING REVISIONISM!!!!!!!!
Seriously, Mortician's discography up until (and including) Domain Of Death is excellent stuff. Brutal and retarded in a good way. Everything after that is totally unnecessary but those EP's and Hacked Up For Barbeque are full of crushing tracks. |
Not really revisionism, just one man's opinion. I realize that many enjoy the retardation inherent in MORTICIAN, but I just can't get into it. |
The revisionism thing was just a reference to NK7, it wouldn't be revisionism at all since Mortician has been always a love it or hate it band, and probably there's more hate than love.
Still, those who don't like it should at least give a shot to Mortal Massacre, the compilation of their early material. I've got a friend who couldn't care less about Mortician in general yet he really likes that one. |

The Drowned ep has already been mentioned, so I'll nominate a few others.
The Clash at 33 sounds a lot like Sisters of Mercy
There was a casette I taped off the radio from the Dub/Downbeat electronica show (I love that shit btw) that had a couple of tracks I really liked. I could never track the album down, it was some obscure white label. Years later I found a rip of it online only to discover that the DJ was playing the tracks at 33 rather than 45. Kinda sucks because i agree with him that it sounds better slow haha.
Similarly a lot of Drum n Bass sounds heavy as fuck slowed down _________________ "14 words: we must secure the depravation of the children and ruin the whole fucking world..." |

I had the Ominous Crucifix/Entrails Split 12" accidentally on 33. Ominous Crucifix sounded like perfectly credible Funeral Doom at that speed |

Coffins needs to do a 33RPM death metal cover of that song. It would fucking crush with dm vocals and more fuzz. _________________
