Picked up Morta Skuld's "For all eternity" maybe a year back, but I listened to it last night and damn, this is a good one. Managed to pick it up at a second hand store in Gothenburg along with some other cd's, but this one stood out.
This is however my first encounter with this band and I havent really heard any of their other releases. Is anyone familiar with Morta Skuld and that would like to share their opinion about this band?

Definitely check out Dying Remains. Underrated as hell and a killer slice of Wisconsonian death metal, I managed to pick up the LP a few months ago cheap on eBay but haven't seen it since Confused

I have Dying Remains, and As Humanity Fades on vinyl, both solid mid paced death metal releases, nothing that will blow you away, but good stuff.I'll have to give a listen to For all Eternity.
You should check out Accidental Suicide and Viogression as well very similar stuff,I think they are from Wisconsin as well.
Just recently I saw a nice vinyl copy of Dying Remains sell for like $12 on e-bay.

Today I received their cd compilation with the two demos, insane. I am now waiting for their second cd.
This band plays real great death metal.

I liked them when first 2 albums were released and think this band is absolutely underrated nowadays.

Definitely one of the more 'solid' DM bands from that era, I like most of their stuff and was actually lucky enough to pick up about 4 original albums of theirs not long ago [yes the rare ones]
One of them is this: http://www.discogs.com/Morta-Skuld-Dying-Remains-As-Humanity-Fades/release/4757525

The Demo comp, Through The Eyes, is a good listen. Not into the new one at all.
