so the morrisound thing is more a production quality thing and not a music style in death metal, correct?

Hmmm just write list of bigger american death metal bands and 70 80% of them will be bands who recorded something there.... so i dont see point in making obvious lists  or just use link from previous post  |

Check the list of records produced by SB. It's safe to say that even the weakest, most generic album there is objectively stronger than 99% of the worthless rubbish praised today. If that's not evidence of Morrisound dm being the best trend ever, I don't know what else is.

MALEVOLENT CREATION's "Retribution" is a fucking PERFECT DEATH METAL RECORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great, hard, pissed and CLEAR DM vocals.
Great, memorable riffs.
Mosh parts/breakdowns a-plenty.
Non-overproduced/non-underproduced sound.
Every song is solid.
MC should have done a 20th anniv tour for this record in 2012 where they did it front to back...oh well!
Anyway, please - more DM like THIS and "Cause of Death"!!!

well i heard pretty some of them even before this forum was online if you didnt got it from what i wrote.... 
i just doubting that there can be "best trend" or "worst trend".. but beside that if you want compare Morisound to something... there was Sunlight, and i guess most of early norwegian black metal was great, and become shit after 1-3 albums... etc... i mean it is not only "trend" that bringed tons of good music.  |
