Morrisound sucked the life out of Terrorizer and many other bands.
that being said, old MA, Obituary, Deicide, Death, etc. were good.
still prefer Sunlight above all. would love to hear a band like Deicide with Sunlight-style production. _________________ my records

Yes, the "Bleeding Demos" compilation tape is still available from me, but take into consideration that it was much more lo-fi and had a drum machine.
The price is 6 euros including registered postage, PM me if you are interested.

Here's an oldie from the infamous POWER HOUR show (it turned into POWER 30) that used to be aired on Much Music every Thursday evening. They used to have great shows. This was a Death Metal / Morrisound special from 1993. It starts off with Slayer and Thrash Metal but there's lots of interviews with Gorguts, Death, Cannibal Corpse, and of course Scott himself:

Try EQUINOX (USA) - rip - Black / Death Metal - to be re-released by PROSELYTISM later / already in conversation with Pete Slate...
Darkness Metal at is fucking BEST...
Only christians dislike this band or didn't care to check it before

Hmmm... i have doubts that it is best trend ever(or maybe better to say that i am doubting that there can be best trend every in general) as well as Deicide wouldnt sounds like shit with Sunlight productions..
But Morrisound bands definitely worth attention, soundwise there is some weak and some strong points.. i can believe even that it sucked out energy from some band, but... no matter what i have to admit that most of those so called Morrisound bands worth attention musicwise |

One of you all in the know that likes to say a lot (NK7 perhaps?) make a list of the primarily worthy bands to check from this scene.
Lets see if I know any. I know I heard the name or term Morrisy, but that may have been just from the day when I was an Alanis Morrissette fan. Don't tell anyone here I said that. Fucking jack-offs around here are like Jackals and will never forget. |
