GLORIA FUNEBRIS #1:

Gloria Funebris is our very own fanzine, the sporadically accomplished work of more than a year. It contains interviews with 12 bands, as well as some reviews and a preface to occult ideas, that will be elaborated in upcoming issues. Featured bands are; Akitsa, Avichi, Les Chants de Nihil, Chasse-Galerie, Crépuscule, Déliquescence, Drowning The Light, Satanic Warmaster, Sorcier Des Glaces, Sortilegia, Tukaaria & Urfaust.

Zine is 99% "cut n paste" for a total old school look, printed on 8.5x11 paper and has 80 pages!

The first intention was to create a 100% french written zine, but all the cut n paste being a huge amount of work, the lack of time, and the possibility to mis-translate the right "mood" of some interviews, we changed our mind. This explains why in this first issue, french-speaking bands are interviewed in french, and others in english. I understand this might be a small problem for some of you, but, what's done is done, and we like our zine that way, so we don't care.

I printed a bit less than 100 copies, because I have a small budget at the moment. Price is 8$ + shipping. I wish I could sell it cheaper, but my cost per copy makes it impossible.

Shipping anywhere in Canada is 4$ for one or two copies.

Elsewhere in the world, it is 14$. Yes, you read that well. This pisses me off, you cannot even imagine how... I have been speaking with the clerk at the post office yesterday for a while, and this is the cheapest for the size (8.5x11) and weight (205g) of a copy. It is possible for me to gently "fold" the copy in 2, reducing the size of the envelloppe, and then I can ship it for 9$.

Here are some picture of the zine;

Slowly starting to work on issue #2. Will change the format, sell some advertising, to make sure it is cheaper and easier to distribute! Confirmed bands so far are; Deathroner, Vampyric Blood & Krüel Kömmando.

We have just release the first demo tape of a new Québecois black metal band called Délétère. This project was created in 2009 by Thorleif (Valknacht, ex-Angstorm), who was then joined by Atheos (Monarque). The band's first demo "Inopia Et Morbo" is an ode to all that is dirty, crawling vermins and illness of an old age brought back to this day! The Délétère demo contains 25 minutes of raw yet melodic black metal sang in both latin and french.

Thanks for the support, and fuck off canadian postal service!!!

First press of the zine is sold out by the way, and I do not have anymore copies of the Délétère tape, so enjoy the download.

A second demo will be released later this year.

Thanks Fallen Empire for the support!
