ANATOMIA - Dead Bodies in the Morgue CD [MEMENTO-XV]
Featuring past and current members from some seminal and legendary Japanese acts such as Transgressor, Necrophile and Sadondeth, the Death/Doom rotting corpse known as Anatomia was born in 2002 with a strong penchant for dense, fuzzed out, viscous, heavy-as-fuck and crawling music. This CD features cover art by César Valladares Fernández (whose talented work decorates albums and merch from bands such as Krisiun, Asphyx, Grave Miasma or Abigail) and compiles both their revered "Demo 2003" and "Human Lust" demos topped with six rare and previously unreleased live and rehearsal tracks, including two covers from the mighty Autopsy, namely "Charred Remains" and "Fiend for Blood". Death Metal in all its mean spirited and decaying glory!!!
SYMPTOM - Opulent Atrocity CD [MEMENTO-XVI]
2011 saw this U.S. band coming out with two EP's, entitled "Symptom" and "Descensus Morte", that became a solid showcase of the kind of eerie, doomed and darkened Metal of Death that oozes madness, horror and despair. "Opulent Atrocity", their debut full-length, is a colossal step forward in their own direction, one that mixes up the thick somberness of such acts as Incantation, Immolation or Dead Congregation with the existential nausea of diSEMBOWELMENT or Evoken. Mastered by Javier Felez @ Moontower Studios (Ataraxy, Teitanblood, Graveyard, Morbid Flesh...) and empowered with conceptual lyrics that tell the real story of an infamous building where all the past suffering remains alive and all nightmares come true, "Opulent Atrocity" is here to terrify.
