Always liked Black Spells of the Damned but hadn't really checked out any Front Beast stuff beyond that. Just stumbled on the guy's bandcamp, and it turns out he's released tons of stuff. Bit hit and miss but there's some great stuff there.

Also odd that FB don't seem to get mentioned around here much. Seems like the sort of band most people on here would be into (or at least before Dimmu Borgir and Dissection became the names to drop).

Great band. The biggest problem here is the amount of splits/EPs, most people don't bother to get them all. Only the die-hards are willing to hunt them all down, and that's probably also why this band doesn't get more praise.
His other bands worth checking out:
Nocturnal: if you don't know them yet...
Angel of Damnation: awesome Doom Metal
Szarlem: raw Black Metal like the early Polish scene

Front Beast is awesome!
In addition to the aforementioned recommendations, SCALARE (heavy metal with totally out of key vocals) and EXORCISM (death metal a la Nunslaughter) are also great! |

Aye, I should have mentioned ALL releases by ALL of his bands (Szarlem, Nocturnal etc) are on the bandcamp page I linked to above.
And yeah, Angel of Damnation are great. |

| From the stuff i hear. Some of it is stuff i can play over and over again in the right moods, some of it is passable though and not really all that essential. Both the 12'' records are worth picking up. I think there's a split with abigail and agathocles each out there i'm curious to still hear since i'm fans of those bands as well. |

I'm not into all of his bands, but Hekate and Angel of Damnation are both quite good.

satan's wrath demo is the best!! total black/thrash with a punk edge but not at all trendy, and metal as swords! in the vein of early kreator(tormentor)/destruction and also reminds of early burzum. cult!

Really love the band, but I never tried the early massive demos and eps. Hope we can have more compilations in the future.
