These dudes are clowns.
Wait, doesn't Satyr have his own wine brand? Laughing

I'm happy just buying quality wine instead of having countless bottles with mediocre content being marketed in my name.

Just guessing about the quality of course. Never had any but I'm assuming no respectable vineyard would be interested in being associated with anything that can't be described as old, well-aged and respectable and the ones that are willing to substitute these for trendy, populist and modern wouldn't require my attention really.

The new Satyricon records have been quite nice though with the exception of Nero which was a total turd of bore with one of the dullest productions in memory.

I want a Rebel Extravaganza II.
Sure the subsequent albums had some good songs musically, but seriously, lyrical content like the song 'fuel for hatred' is barely a stones toss away from crap Slipknot did with a song called or at least versed over and over with the lyrical line 'people equal shit' ...very mature and intellectual. How does anyone over fifteen listen to that?

I can handle the black and roll they are doing, I just wish they would produce some slightly more mature lyrics or occult laced content that at least reads interesting, and abandon the simplicity and stagnation such boring shit delivers.

Cradle of Filth can make songs with a novel of lyrics work, so what the hell is wrong with Satyricon? Razz

Personally I would like something new that would keep things interesting. Not that something old sounding wouldn't seem appealing to my taste of course, but I see no reason revisiting your old records if the material is not that strong

I would just like them to approach the lyrical content with a little more skill and effort.
They have the black and roll mastered musically, lets just make the album a little more mature sounding lyrically, not so simple and retarded. Laughing

I do not care about their latest albums, but up to and including rebel they were all good. And the wine is actually of very high quality!

I love their new albums, but yeah, the lyrics have been godawful.

September 8th release date for EU, I guess September 9 for US! awesome. 2013 is really a great year for metal, just as i thought at the beginning of the year.

I like their remixes, so I'll have to get the digi. Regardless some comments I read, INRI's remake was quite awesome

Well, one can safely say it is not going to be Rebel Extravaganza II.
