I have to be in the right mood for Nemesis Divina. I've listened to it probably 3-5 times in the last 10 years, if that says anything. I don't think it's bad at all, I guess. There's never a time when I'm listening to it that I feel particularly bored, but I don't ever find myself wanting to listen to it.

I can tell something similar about Volcano. Even though I do believe it's a really good record, I rarely listen to it.

By the way, thanks a lot- now I really want to listen to it, but all of my CDs are in boxes because I just moved into a new place. Laughing Goddammit.

Well, I am listening to Volcano now, haha. It's been quite a while actually.

I was listening to Now, Diabolical album alot when I was about 14-15 years old. But now I don't really care about their new outputs. Just waiting for a vinyl rerelease of the first 3 albums.

Most bands would really wish they could write a song as good as Repined Bastard Nation and to be honest after listening to Volcano yesterday I think Fuel For Hatred is the album's most unfitting song. It's a great track for what it is, but a bit too pop metal.

Fuel for Hatred is a terrible pop metal song, for sure. It was clearly written to be a single.

was a huge fan of them til and including nemesis. then I refused to follow their music until I found out in 2011 that volcano and the age of nero aren't that bad and indeed have good songs. looking forward to the new one.

Brilliant deduction, Watson! Smile

Ah, I totally forgot the song "Repined Bastard Nation". Really good song.

So what? I'll take a catchy pop metal song over any confused, chaotic and unstructured mess of UGBM riffs patched together any day, any time. Fuel for Hatred rules.

The main, catchy riffs are great, but some parts sound a bit dull. In comparison to the rest of the album, it is Volcano's weakest song.

Again, I don't get the point in even being interested in what a band like Satyricon still does nowadays. Are you all blind?

It's like Mayhem. Satyricon died short after Nemesis Divina.
There's really no point in discussing, considering and comparing what they'r doing with what they were.
So gay and false.
