Not bad. Pretty much exactly what I thought it'd sound like.

Well, I'd like to know who's the majority of potential buyers of this record:

(Old-time) Burzum fans who just keep supporting him by buying each and everything he releases, even though it's not the music they use to like/listen to (and that was pretty much the case with his albums recorded in prison, I'd say) or people who are genuinely into electronic Ambient-style music...

I'll probably buy it since I think it sounds better than "Daudi" and "Hlidskjalf" (which I didn't buy). To me it just sounds like "a good ambient album" and I like some other bands in this vein too. I'm also sure that some people will buy it just because they want to support Varg no matter what.

Seeing how quite a lot of people (on here for example) buys more records than they properly listen to, one can ask the question if its because they are genuinely interested in the music, or because certain records gets hyped as fashionable within the subculture? Its not like all the second hand sealed records on ebay have been investments to make a profit either.

In this case I wouldnt imagine that many people into electronic ambient will buy the album without already knowing the artist. A certain kind will certainly buy it just to fill their OCD-exigency to complete their collection. Personally, I like the prison albums and will get this even though I didnt care for the last two releases. The samples sound promising.

^ Well I also dig the samples here. Im one that never bothered listening to "Daudi" or "Hlidskjalf" because I never cared, although Ive always loved Tomhet. I could possibly give this a buy.

My interest in Burzum is based mainly on hearing Daudi Baldrs and Hlidjskjalf. I think the ambient influence has always been apart of his sound, and whether he is playing "Awful" MIDI keyboards or writing ambient pieces to go along with his bm its just natural. I don't get the hate for his newer material, but this album is a mandatory buy for me!
