I'm looking for any suggestions like:

-record stores
-war museums
-weird art (like Korperwelten)
-metal bars

Thanks in advance!

Do not expect much metal-related stuff in Düsseldorf.

Record stores: there are more less three worth visiting, in my opinion.

1. A&O Medien Düsseldorf: they only sell new records. They do not have second-hand section. At least, that's what they told me last time. The prices are more or less alright.

2. Hitsville: They sell lots of second-hand records. Mostly Indie, Punk, Wave, Metal and some Jazz/Soul etc. Prices are okay.

3. Slowboy: they sell only vinyl and mostly second-hand. Lots of Kraut, Folk, Punk, Indie, Metal, Jazz etc. etc. records. Not cheap, but not pricey either.

Voices only sells Techno, Hip-Hop etc. records. If you like that as well, it may be worth a look.

You may have some luck in Cologne. One of the biggest Saturns in Germany is there located. It's pretty near, so you might want to check it out. Grabbed some good stuff there.

Museums:

Check out the "Westwallmuseum". If you are interested in the history of war, especially WWII, it's a really worth your time.
It's not directly in Düsseldorf, but it's easy to get there.
Here you go: http://www.westwallmuseum-irrel.de/

If you like to get more to know about the history of Düsseldorf, the "Stadtmusuem" is a good place to go to. Not too war related, but you'll learn about Düsseldorf and the situation of the city in both world wars.

"Das Haus der deutschen Geschichte" might be more interesting to you, though. It is located in Bonn. You need to take the train to get there. But it's not too long to get there. It's mostly war-related.
But, if you want to go there, it's better to take some time. It took me 2,5hours to get through it.

Metal bars:

There is no good metal bar in Düsseldorf. But maybe this will help:

It hopefully helps. I must confess,I haven't been in Düsseldorf for a long time now.

While in the area check Idiots Records in Dortmund and Turock in Essen. D'dorf is kinda lame for metal.

True. Turock is good place. Maybe Helvete in Oberhausen has something good to offer as well. I agree, Düsseldorf is not a good place for metal. It's mostly known for the Königsallee. Most people form here drive to Düsseldorf to get to the "Rheinauen" or for shopping.

Just about everybody in the Ruhr area seems to know Yeah Records in Essen. It's just next to Turock. Decent selection/prices, always worth checking out, at least I never ended up empty-handed.

There's also "Nord" (big Metal Bar), "Don't Panic" (Punk / HC Bar, some Metal concerts) and "Konsumreform" (2nd hand store and cafe, good selectuon of 2nd hand records). All three are next to "Turock". So a visit to Essen may be a good choice for you.

When will you cult around in the area? there are plenty of good shows coming up in the "Ruhrgebiet"...

Köln has got some good museums and vinyl stores.... but I would just sit down in a beer garden and drink Kölsch!

So, if I understand correctly, you guys say that Köln is a better place to be?
Then suggest me the same as above but for Köln then!

It's for this coming weekend! I didn't know that Dusseldorf is that boring, considering the fact that it has almost a half of million citizens...

Thanks in advance again!

Get some drinks at Cafe Nord und then go to the Turock in Essen. There's a concert with Mantar, Deserted Fear and Deathrite on friday.
It's about 20 minutes by train and 15 minutes to walk from main station.
