| I've just finished listening to this album for the first time and I am completely blown away. Fucking incredible. I would call up Nattens Madrigal as a reference point (one of the best black metal albums of all time, and if you disagree, then you are wrong), but a bit more aggressive even. Raw as hell, amazing riffs and the feeling of it is just...perfect. I rarely feel the need to pour so much praise over a release but this one truly deserves it. True norwegian black metal! |

Yes, and the LP Edition has been sold out long ago.
But there's a CD Edition as well as a MC Edition coming soon (January/February). So, watch out!

Ah, need to get a hold of that. I can't remember being so impressed with a BM release for a long time. Quite surprised that this hasn't gotten much attention at all, considering how good it is. |

Well, it's just not the Fashion of the season atm, I guess. No homoerotic narcism, no borderline Syndrome, no quliphotic mumbo-jumbo... just True Norwegian Black Metal as it was played in the 1990ties, plain and simple.

Amazing album indeed and an amazing well run band.
Tape reissue of the album and the demos is a coming early next year here on my label, and it will not be a collector's item. I am also going to be doing a t-shirt as well. The only reason it isn't at the factory yet is because of all the shit that happened here in recent months which basically halted all activities.
The old tape of Nordnorsk Hatmusikk (there second demo) is being listed on discgo's now at 3 times the original selling price by a bunch of now ex-Winter Solace trade partners.
The LP has pretty much disappeared, it doesn't exist in ebay either so people are actually listening to it.
To answer the questions of the people who will read this thread and then e-mail me instantly before brain function kicks in. Not to sound like an ass but I said in one post that I had extra Lps and sold them in 5 minutes, they never made it to the distro and I still got people trying to buy them 5 months after the thread went into oblivion.
NO PRE-ORDERS! CONTACTING WINTER SOLACE BEFORE IT IS RELEASED WILL NOT GET IT RELEASED FASTER.
