Been on a chilling Fear of God rush lately. Obviously a totally unique band, but there must have been others out there fusing their Thrash and Heavy Metal with goth elements. I remember the first Anacrusis album being somwhat fitting of the description. Maybe even some of the slower songs on Metallica's ...And Justice? I don't know... Anyway, hit me up with some knowledge!

| What exactly do you mean by "goth" elements? Slower and darker riffing or actual goth music? |

within the veil is one of my all time favorite metal albums though.

Later era Sentenced comes to mind.
Same goes for Therion.
"Goth" is a wide term when it comes to music.

| It's not The Sisters of Mercy or anything like that, but Cyclone Temple is pretty dark sounding. I Hate Therefore I Am might be of interest. |

Sentenced had a quite clear gothic rock influence on Amok and Love & Death already. Although, not in as big role as later on.

Big love for Fear of God, but I don't hear any goth elements in their music. There's an industrial touch for sure though. Check Demimonde's demo, I think some went on to form Complex 7 who also happen to be quite okay if you like power/thrash metal. They lost the element that made the first tape so unique though.

Their second album is good (I am actually among the few people who believe so : P), but nowhere close to the debut. Just download it, you can find the vinyl for 20 eur or so with a bit of patience.
