Saw them at MDF a few years ago, instant fan. One of those few bands that managed to win me over live and then not disappoint when I checked out their albums. Same goes for Ingrowing.
Didn't Metalblade just do a pic disc? Is it sold out already? |

| I still prefer the early Asphyx works, but HoB is a killer follow up band. |

It's good shit but for some reason I can't get into it as much as I would like. I'm a sucker for Van Drunen's vocals but something is missing here, perhaps a bit more of speed in the songs, don't know really. It's enjoyable but somehow less interesting than say Asphyx or Pentacle -just to mention two bands which are more or less in the same vein.

Yeah you can't fuck with earlier Asphyx. Last one on earth, Self titled, and Crush the Cenotaph are essential death releases. |

| The song 'Berlin' gave me a chill. Other than that I think they should concentrate on one band instead of three. And the sound is too clinical. |

True. A little more less polished perfect would fit them better for sure.
I posted but deleted a earlier comment quickly trying to word something like that, they would most certainly benefit a less modern style of production indeed. |

| I have the same problem with Grand Supreme Blood Court & the latest Asphyx, might buy the CDs when their cheap though. But on Vinyl a production like this is horrid most of the time. |
