More hyped than ever!
I talked to the guy at Glasshouse Records and they are close to selling out the Pomona show. Also found out they don't sell Fox Theater tickets there anymore.
I also checked the whole parking situation. It looks like they did add Paid Parking at the Art School and the one behind the outside stage area. It reads something like this
Daytime Parking
3 Hours Free 7am-7pm
$3 Thereafter
Nightime Parking
$1 7pm-7am
Just a heads up. |

Looks like the Pomona show is sold out!
I'm sure this place is going to be packed out! Only a few more weeks to go...
I hope it's easy enough to at least get at decent buzz at a local bar before/during the show since (PLEASE CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG) The Glass House does not sell alcohol |

I am cruising down to L.A. on Friday for the Saturday show in Pomona. Anyone know if there are any decent gigs going on that night besides Opeth/Katatonia? I don't really care where it is since we don;t have a hotel booked for the night yet. Probably just book a room near wherever we can find something to do.
Alternately, if nothing is going on, is there any reason at all to spend a Friday night chillin' in Pomona? _________________ "...that magnificent deer has vanished." |

You'd be better off finding something to do in LA. Pomona is boring.

Your question was answered a few pages ago. They started selling alcohol at the beginning of the year. |

Hmmm, found a punk show Friday night in downtown LA with Infernoh from Sweden at this address 1725 E. 7th St.m, LA, but it gives no venue name. Is this a house or something? Is this neighborhood OK for walking around and finding food n crap? My only recent experience near there was at the 5 Star bar which is about a mile and a half away. _________________ "...that magnificent deer has vanished." |

I really fucking hate that due to MDF contracts, this tour won't hit NYC.
So 'exclusive appearances' can suck it! _________________ We Are Satan's Generation And We Don't Give A Fuck! |

As a side note, very much looking forward to Saturday in Pomona! I'll be hopping around the bars in the immediate area beforehand to avoid the inevitable high prices of beer inside the venue. |
