Have you experienced problems ordering from Rise Above?

I placed two different pre-orders from Rise above last 12nd and 24th of April. I ordered the parcels to be shipped to a friend's address on the UK to save on shipping. More than a month has passed since then and the records haven't showed up on any of both cases, despite that everybody out there seems to have received their goods.

I've emailed to their contact address on the website and even to the personal e-mail of the guy who's taking care of the orders without getting a reply back from him. I even have phoned several times but nobody picks up the phone.

I actually made the second pre-order (dated the 24th of April) since I made mistake and bought one item on CD instead than on vinyl. I asked if it was possible to fix the problem but, as usual, no reply was provided. Since the album was for a mate who was mad about the possibility of missing it out, I made that second purchase despite how upsetting the situation was.

Have you ever expreienced this kind of problems ordering from Rise Above and if so, did you manage to resolve them finally?

They are slow as shit but I'd be surprised if they rip you off.

It takes 2+ months to get a parcel it seems, but they always deliver. Can't say I enjoy the wait, but alls well that ends well. Great packaging too, always a plus.

Try to email: Jeremy@riseabove.com or whatever their domain name is, I forget.

I also sent them a message via facebook to their page and got a reply as well.

They do get to your replies eventually, haha.

never been ripped off, though. No need to worry.

But, yes, their are slow as fuck!!

I only order from them, if I can't get the item anywhere else...

Slow as fuck but I'm the only one working there so there isn't too much I can do about that- close to 1000 orders when new stuff comes out and only me to pack/ship/etc as well as usual day to day work shit and that is what happens. Not really an excuse, but I don't call the shots so it's not like I can hire extra people in when I need them.

Goab you had a mail from me on Friday- and I sorted your 'problem' out without even seeing this thread!
Ole- your package will ship Monday or Tuesday via fedex and there's a copy of Iron Fist in there with the Nidrosian review in it.
