i usually don't listen to advance tracks...but this sounds fucking MONSTROUS. the production is closer to the first album...i welcome the return of the murky, dried blood from beheaded ouroborus. have they released anymore details about the release this will be on? i guess they parted ways with osmose as well, since the track is on the IB soundcloud Twisted Evil

Says it's gonna be a MLP. I think it's the one that supposed to come out on Enucleation before the label closed and then passed onto Iron Bonehead. That was long before the 2nd album came out from what I remember.

Interesting track and much faster than expected so will be interesting to see what the full album sounds like.

Is that KzR on vocals? His voice is too weak for the music...

His voice is too weak for the music? seriously? Whatever, you're entitled to your own opinion, but if expressiveness means weakness in death metal, than we have to reevaluate a lot of bands. Nah, I think this song is ok, and it's not for the vocals. It's got the Witchrist repetition, but the riffs aren't all there yet. I want to like it more than I do. And it ain't the vocals.

It's not diversity or the unique vocal styles which are the issue. The issue is that he sounds hoarse. There's no charisma. He sounds like he needs a glass of water and a good rest. Past vocalists for Witchrist were much more sinister, in my opinion.

Curses of Annihilation(aka demos) is by far the best stuff in my opinion. New track is okay.

Curses of Annihilation and Beheaded Ouroborus > everything else.
NKS was the perfect fit for Witchrist, regardless of whether KzR is awesome or not (he is).

I actually find Curses dull and unlistenable. The newer stuff does it for me. Each to their own I guess

I'm one of those that liked The Grand Tormenter slightly more than Beheaded Ouroborus but both are great in their own way, good to know there's a new release coming.

Gotta agree, I was kinda shocked by the vocals too. The overall production is too dry for my taste, it's less occult than previous efforts. And I've loved everything from the 1st demo tape which I was fortunate enough to get to TGT which was nasty
