Well, the topic about his performance at Moonstock this year during the eclipse, forced me to go deep in his discography as I felt guilty of not having done so before.

More and more gems of heavy rock Ozzy gift us, who don't know songs like "Bark at the moon", "Crazy Train" or "Mr. Crowley"?

The '80s records are my favourite, with Blizzard Of Ozz a little higher cause of Randy Rhoads Crazy Train main riff, but I dig also "Black Rain" with his obscure and heavy sound done by 'the redneck one' Zakk Wylde.

About him has written and said near everything, so this time it's our turn to speak to.

Always loved early solo Ozzy stuff. Diary is my fave. Need to score those early shit on vinyl.

It's a hard choice between the first two, but the riffs on Over the Mountain seal it for me.

Diary... by far for "Over the Mountain", "SATO" and the epic masterpiece that closes the album alone, but The Ultimate Sin is a cool 2nd option.

I love the first four albums to death, but it's always a hard choice between
Bark at the Moon and the Ultimate Sin to me... this time i lean slightly towards Sin...

Voted Diary...SATO and Little Dolls...?! Fucking perfect albums, those first two. I could have easily voted Speak of the Devil, as well. That album is what got me into metal as a kid when I first bought it way back when. Hell, the two with Jake E. Lee are great, as well.

Can't go wrong with Blizzard or Diary, but I voted Diary because of Over the Mountain and the title track (and it's just a better overall album).

Randy Rhoads was simply amazing. The riffs and guitar sound on Suicide Solution are among my all-time favorites.

I think Bark has a couple of good/great songs (especially the title track of course) but is overall very weak compared to the first two. Ultimate Sin was a nice "comeback", though I don't think it's aged as well as the earlier stuff. Still fun to throw on the turntable every now and then.

I didn't really like No Rest and I stopped following Ozzy's solo career after that. He's become a joke at this point and I have zero interest in post-'88 Ozzy.

Voted Diary but there's practically nothing between that and Blizzard for me.

Voted for Diary of a Madman, because the title track is one the best songs ever!
Some of the vocal lines and melodies Ozzy delivers are absolutely devastating. Also Randys' guitar work is out of this world.

Nothing but total worship for the first three albums!

Voted for Diary. The whole early Ozzy era was just magic, from the music to the album sleeves and the insane promo and concert posters. Looked so damn cool.

Voted Diary, due to the consistency of the tunes. Never cared for No Bone Movies. Though Steal Away the Night is one of the best songs ever written.

Speak of the Devil is probably my favorite Ozzy record since it was the first tape I bought with my own allowance. But since its all Sabbath songs I voted for Blizzard.
