Just gonna say neither of the things you listed are enough to 'verify' demo authenticity.
I have used different tapes in the making of the same demo. I have run out of stickers and just started writing the title in sharpie. I'm sure that in 1990 Beherit would not have been freaking out uniformity across their demos either.
Since these are old tapes, maybe you could post pictures of the tapes and someone who knows way too much about cassettes to say whether or not the particular model existed during the time period or not. _________________ http://www.fallenempirerecords.com/

| I'll never understand this mentality behind collecting original demo tapes. Why??? The quality must be severely degraded by now and if not, it will be eventually. Why can't people just be satisfied with the music, regardless of format instead this nerdy bullshit. Honestly, this might be one of the things I hate about metal the most. Sorry to shit on your thread, but I just had to do it somewhere. |

Original Mortuary Drape tapes were all dubbed with xeroxed covers but that "demo '89" sticker (or whatever it is) on the tape certainly isn't supposed to be there. Bootlegs worth a mere $1/2 each. _________________ Thread derailed

Interested in trading a dub of Apokalypsimz for a dub of Purpurearagotamiceps?
I want that Balwezo Westijiz–Urkraftens Mystik LP but wanted to get it with the Bekëth Nexëhmü |

This! Source is a shitty MP3 from "Goatpwarpenisrapemetal" - Blog
I know this polish guy who sells them at Ebay - ALL FAKES!
Gererally i would NOT buy any Demos at Ebay that are NOT pro-printed (cover or tape). 99% are bootlegs, definitely. |

That is true but somehow irrelevant in the case being, since Walter kept dubbing those two tapes 'til early '94 at least (thats when I got my copies) However, those in the pics are definitely dubs made by the seller. _________________ Thread derailed

Exactly, I got these tapes from band in 2004 and both Mortuary Drape cassettes had such stickers. _________________ TRADELIST:
