Ok, we all here are listening to extreme music but which releases have really impressed you by terms of musical violence?

These are some of mine:

Damaar - Triumph Through Spears of Sacrilege
Black Witchery - Inferno of Sacred Destruction
Deiphago - Satanik Eon
Anaal Nathrakh - The Codex Necro (brutal inhuman music with the most desperately hysteric/aggressive vocals I've ever heard.)
Anaal Nathrakh - In The Constellation of the Black Widow ( although this has a more polished production than the codex necro it is even more relentless)
Watchmaker - Kill Fucking Everyone (grind/thrash non stopping attack with a vocalist screaming his lungs out on top.)
Watchmaker - Erased From the Memory of Man (the same but with two vocalists screaming their lungs out)
Ayat - El Nabi Mojrem Moghtaseb Dajjal

Going to the fields of harsh noise Masonna and Crown Of Bone are some of the most extreme artists I can think off.
Special mention: the track Castigation and Betrayal from Anaal Nathrakh.

The obvious choices are Nyogthaeblisz and Tetragrammacide.

Sutcliffe Jügend.

I just can't stomach 'em anymore.

As a teenager I was like hell yeah bring it on, but now as a grown-up I'm like nah man, I'll pass.

As far as relentless, Kult Ofenzivy definitely comes to mind. That drumming just won't quit.

Damaar is the first thing that always pops in my head.

I'll throw Warbutcher into the discussion though, Bulldozer of Semitic Destruction is a beast.

Black Witchery - Desecration Of The Holy Kingdom is full of violence and hatred.

Adorior - Author of Incest is another choice of mine.

Katharsis - VVorldVVithoutEnd & Serpent Athirst - Heralding Ceremonial Mass Obliteration are pretty intense as well.

I guess I don't 'get' Power electronics. I saw Sutcliffe Jügend live years ago ( probably like 10 years..maybe less), and thought it was ridiculous and yet also incredibly boring.
I also saw Consumer electronics and Ramleh live and thought similarly, and I gather they're 'respected' or 'pioneers' somewhat..??

It's probably just me, but the most extreme music was made in the 80's. Old hardcore like Shitlickers, Anti-cimex. And pioneer bands like Slayer, Repulsion and the likes.

Nyogthaeblisz and similar bands just remind me of 80's grind/noise core acts.

I remember my jaw dropping back when a friend first showed me "Salvation" and Wolfslair's "Odin" - still among my favorite albums for sure!

Of more recent stuff, I was blown away by the Konflict-side on that split with Reeks of the Unzen Gas Fumes. Also seconding previously mentioned Nyogthaeblisz and Damaar.

Also, there are few records that can match Cryptopsy - None so Vile's level of intensity and brutality.
