| I have been listening to a lot of Cauchemar lately and really like the way heavy metal sounds in french. I don't know of any french speaking heavy metal bands other than blaspheme and sortilege. all suggestions are appreciated. |

not particular about it but if there's any good french speaking bands that are sort of doomy id really like that also. good heavy metal will also do.
Currently enjoying Sortilege - Metamorphose and mostly Cauchemar on repeat. I really wish they had more music. Ill have to scrounge up a few $ to order the cd. |

| so much great shit, some of my favourite pure metal hails from France. I think Steel Angel might be my most revered. They don't sing in french though! haha - next to them it would Der Kaiser |

| Excalibur - great heavy metal in the vein of old Maiden and Metallica. From the early eighties. Interview coming up in one of the future issues of Kaleidoscope. |

well as far as the old ones go you HAVE to add VULCAIN (first album). Also Warning, Titan (if Killers suits you) and Océan (more rock than metal though).
For recent stuff try Sanctuaire- L'empreinte de Lucifer ! |
