Great old Chicago band that slipped under my radar until I saw them play a few weeks ago. I've been obsessed with "After the Battle" ever since.

Killer old Slayer worship with a bit o' death influences and a litany of riffs that never stop. Though they totally ripped live when I saw them, I wish I could've seen them in their prime.

Any fans on here ?

Incredible band! Good description of their sound.
A rerelease of the old material was scheduled on Proselytism but it seems the whole thing fell through.
The band will play in Germany next year and I am fucking looking forward!

The band was selling a reissue of the After The Battle lp at the show, if that's what you're after. I'd definitely like to pick up the compilation stuff if they ever do indeed reissue it.

That show looks great, wish I could attend! I think I will make the drive to Detroit to see them again with Perversion in March.

Bought "After the Battle" LP some years ago from second hand store, since it had cool covers and Turbo Music as label made me think of Oath of the Black Blood instantly. But never got into album, spin the damn thing now and then in hope that it sound killer but no, hah!

Really? Hard to imagine anyone into evil thrash/death wouldn't like that album. If you're in the States, would you care to part with LP?

Hmm...I also had this LP for years, and I also have to own up to never being able to fully get into it either. Decent enough band/music, with a formula that should have made it something that I'd really like, but it just never truely clicked for some reason.
I ended up trading it away to someone who really was into the band, and had really been looking out for the LP.

I imagine live onstage it could be another story.

They are really great on stage. I hadn't heard them before but after about 2 minutes of their first song I walked right over the merch booth and bought reissue LP. I can only imagine how much more I would've enjoyed them if I was familiar with their songs at the time.

Bonus points for the bassist/vocalist looking exactly like Jacob from Trailer Park Boys.

Grrreeat band, still on the hunt for the LP

Totally biased though, Chicago metal overall can do no wrong, it seems...
