One of the best bands ever, objectively.
Even if they have been shit for about 20 years now.
Just got through listening to Show No Mercy, Hell Awaits and Reign In Blood, these albums just never get old. Still as furious as ever.
Discuss. _________________

| I worship the Metal Blade albums, and really like the next couple after that, but my absolute favorite has to be Hell Awaits. What an EVIL record. |

| All those albums are good, I'm starting to favor the first 2 as I get older. |

Show No Mercy is one of the best metal albums ever recorded. It goes slowly downhill from there. _________________ http://sethbennettillustration.blogspot.com/ - Artwork and graphic design

Show No Mercy by a longshot. Superior to anything else they ever recorded. _________________ Great traders/sellers: GoldenBull, Ivan the terrible, OA, LifeDepraved, maranatha, newincident, 61514, Korpinen, NuclearGoatVomit, global deathrape, s. charlach, madcow, xyosefx, goatcaft, Blutkvlt, Ironwood, Unholy Horde, Wolfsturm888, Pinhas |

| I voted Reign in Blood as favourite, like recently to few years ago there was some RIB flame trend, by people who just found that it's not the most extreme thrash album ever, or just found out that albums released before it are good too. |

| SNM and Hell Awaits are gnarlier, but I had to vote Reign because it is the one I've listened to most by a long shot, and the first one I heard. I agree about the 20 years of sucking, but their 80s material is untouchable. Best band. |

Their first three are outstanding and will have a large place in my bitter metalhead heart til death do me part.
Show no Mercy is of course the best. _________________ Todays modern science is your modern religion. |

They were good because of the time they came on to the scene. Could have been anyone doing the same thing, but it wasn't, it was these guys.
Looking back at it all now... I rarely listen to Slayer ever anymore. Have found bands far more interesting.
However when I was a kid and Slayer were the shit... hell fucking yea, they were the shit alright! SLAYER!!! |

My favorite band ever.12 years so far..
Also their 90s albums are milestones of aggression, blind violence and intensity.
I 'm getting mad with Undisputed Attitude.Who listens to Slayer and extreme music and don't like this short cocktail molotov???
Sadly,they ''died '' since '00 till today.But can't speak bad.I don't care.Their testament is eternal.
I can't choose which album is their best,it's impossible, but let's say Reign in Blood for emotional reasons. |

| They died after Divine Intervention, not 2000. |
