| One of the most un-godliest bands ever. Up to and including Reign in Blood is essential and if you don't like those albums you should try deathcore. I don't like South or Seasons as much as when I was younger but they are still good albums. Divine and Undisputed also have their moments. |

I liked ''god hates all''.
Those lyrics full of sickness and hatred..The feeling of the urge to kill a man is still here..
Some would say common but when it comes from Araya's mouth (voice of hate) has a special meaning.
Exile (lyrics)
''Just tell me fucking why everything becomes an issue
Your opinion is always senseless - fuck this
You make my fucking skin crawl
I've lived with it - can't stand anymore
My worst nightmare
I want to take a bullet in the fucking head
Every time I think of you, every time I think of you
You self-righteous fuck
Give me a reason not to rip your fucking face off
Why don't you take a good look in these eyes
Cause I'm the one that's gonna tear your fucking heart
out
My hate is contagious
Anyone else need to vent?
You've tried my tolerance; I just want you to die ....'' |

My favorites are in order of their releases. Best band ever...

I'm that way with Black Sabbath and Metallica, I don't think I've listened to one of their albums in like 4 or 5 years. I hardly ever revisit shit that I listened to as a kid, totally burned out on that stuff. Not the same with Slayer, I can still listen to their shit from time to time. I probably go back to Hell Awaits more than anything else, but Show No Mercy is my favorite. |

Really worship everything up to and including Seasons, but Show No Mercy is where it's at for me. Perfection.

Yup. Same here. No matter how many bands I come across, I always end up going back to Slayer (and Morbid Angel) and they still blow away just about everything. _________________

Haunting The Chapel really should be in the poll. What a classic EP. _________________ "If noise means uncomfortable sound. Then pop is noise to me" - Masami Akita. |

Fuck... yeah, I retract that "best band ever" statement. It's so easy to ignore their current state that I completely forgot what sellouts they've become.
Their last good output was Undisputed Attitude. |

I think it's easy to ignore. Lots of bands I loved as a kid and teenager have turned into total spastics later on in their career. I just choose to ignore it and live in the past. Fuck it. The early stuff is just TOO good. _________________

| Slayer is definitely one band whose later output is really easy to ignore. I've simply never paid attention to it. |
