Sorry I just jumped on the bandwagon last year!
Has EW ever played in Los Angeles or done a full tour of the States?
I know they played MDF in the past but aside from that do they get over to the US very often?
I hope to see these stoned bones in my backyard someday... |

I saw em in SF in 2000 so they probably played LA at that time. Think it was with Warhorse.

| The MDF show was a big deal, they hadn't been to the US since the '00 tour I think. Apparently it was because of visa issues, which they shouldn't have in the future with the newish lineup but after the MDF show I read an interview with them saying not to hold your breath for their next stateside show. |

they did a tour in 2001, pretty sure last stateside appearance until MDF. Maybe can find the dates somewhere.
Is there a story behind them not coming to the states again? I'm guessing back then they were less hyped and from what i hear they were playing very tiny shows in some parts of the country, this band wasn't huge until the last few years stateside, however given the size of their crowd at MDF, i can't imagine they'd have problem doing the thing a lot of bands their size do and just play a handful of shows in the biggest cities. |

| They played the Troubadour in '01 w Goatsnake. I remember some technical issues with their set. Good show otherwise. |

They played at a club in Attleboro, MA in Dec 2001 w/ Diabolic, Macabre and ENSLAVED! I taped that show and was catching shit from the tour manager (who was a very angry, stout older woman) but talked her into letting me continue.
Hung out with EW for quite a bit at MDF (a good friend of mine is buddies w/ Jus) and I brought up the show in MA and Jus tells me how much of a twat this woman was etc.. and how one of the dudes in Diabolic was fucking this old lady in his bunk right above Jus' bunk. His story was quite funny AND gross.
They were very awesome at MDF IMO Good people to party with |

Jus said in an interview that some of the former members had interesting criminal records for drug offences etc. |
