Samael always had an original sound but "Ceremony..." was something fresh in what already was an over saturated genre. I was a bit surprised when I first heard the album in 1994 but it was an instant grower. Their first 3 albums are on the top of my list.

Voted option 1, but I don't think it's overrated. It gets its due. One of my favorite vocal performances of all time.

I voted killer, but not as good as the first two. Damn this band wrote so many fucking killer songs. The brothers really had a unique dynamic going on that has never been replicated. Too bad they turned gay.
