TORTORUM announces its debut album!

TORTORUM hailing from Norway, is a Black Metal band formed in 2010 by guitarist Skyggen (also guitar in Dead To This World, live guitar in Gorgoroth,
ex-Thunderbolt [Pol]).

In 2010 Skyggen recorded an instrumental demo which was for private use and a few specially selected individuals only.
A few months later Barghest (vocals, also Spearhead [UK]) joins the band.
In May 2011, TORTORUM entered Conclave Studio in Bergen to record their debut album entitled "Extinctionist", containing 9 hymns of furious
and savage Black Metal.
Skyggen recorded all guitars, Barghest - vocals, with Erik (session drums, ex-Aeternus, ex-Gorgoroth) taking care of artillery.

The album is due to be released on World Terror Committee at the end of March 2012 as Digi CD and vinyl version will come a little bit later.

TORTORUM "Extinctionist" tracklist:

1. Aeonscourge
2. In Pestilence Majesty
3. Grace of Hatred
4. All Mercy Devoured
5. Kindling the World Conflagration
6. Fucking Worthless
7. Gloria in Extinction
8. Mother Infirmity
9. For the Ruin of All

TORTORUM will celebrate the release of "Extinctionist" album on the 20th of April 2012 at famous Garage in Bergen together with Behexen from Finland.
On this special occasion, Iscariah - guitar (also Dead To This World) and S. - drums (also Infernal War) will join the forces with the band on stage.

Promising! Good vocal work and a dark, massive wall of sound.

Agree. Debut was not so interesting. Well played of course, but I felt that I had heard so much of the material before.

The new album is really much much better than the first one. Added more horizons and solitary nightmare visions in the sound. A new recording session will suffice soon also for a 7"EP through Edged Circle Productions later this year.

Yep, the vocal work is selling me so far. The song is really good and intense all around.
