Saw them on a tour with Marduk and Kataklysm, I went only for MA, and it was very good. Wanted to see them again when they were supposed to play a show in my town with Necrophobic, but they cancelled at the last moment. I'm usually not resentful, but I haven't been interested in seeing them since. A show together with shit bands like Kreator and Nile made this decision even easier.

I'd say go if you can tolerate David Vincent looking like a clown and doing shitty vocals. Still worth it only to watch Trey play if you are a big fan.

Yeah last time I saw them was when David returned and he was embarassing.
But still they fucking delivered.
And a set WITHOUT any Illud? A set WITH "God of Emptiness"? Man, I'm in. Worship the Trey

Last good Morbid angel show was 06 when they had an 'old school set'.

I'll be seeing them in Eindhoven. Wouldn't pay to see them, but they're playing anyway so might as well check it out.

We were supposed to open for them in Malmö, but they didn't want any local bands. So I say fuck them.

It'd be worth it to go just to see their drummer and his glam moves:

I've been going to MA shows since the late 80s and have not once seen them put on a bad show. I'd guesstimate that I've seen them 20X. Some shows were certainly better than others but I always felt like I got my $$ worth. Like some other dude said, the price to see Trey play, if nothing else, makes it worth it even if everyone else has an off night. If you've never seen MA, passing up a show, even nowadays, is a mistake.

Your posts suggest that that you put out your first demo within the past year, and yet you seem to think you have a right to share the stage with the mighty MA. Are you fucking kidding?

No, I don't feel that I have a "right to share the stage with the mighty MA". I don't even Like MA. It's just their attitude of "no local bands" that pisses me of, which suggests to me that they have no love left for the underground metal scene. That is where they came from.
